Abstract

This article is in pursuit of applying social
constructivist approaches to understand conflict
situation in Kashmir imbroglio . Not limiting its focus
solely on the institutional structure , this approach will
study a dynamic perspective on processes, communication, relationships and network structures
in Kashmir.. To begin with ,We will explain our
understanding of this conflict in context of both
systemic constructivism and unit level constructivism, that shaped perceptions of political leaders and state
actors who were primarily involved in genesis of this
conflict. After a quick perusal of the nature of this
conflict , we will then present how Kashmir issue is a
more than just a political conflict and why we need to
see it through the lense of constructivism . this study
will throw some light on the conflict of identities
present in Kashmir and some other explanatory
theories to understand the conflict . We will explain in more details about endeavours carried
forward for the conflict transformation, before finally illustrating our findings. The findings can
guide us to have a dynamic perspective and to reach out the solution by using a constructive
approach
